My Love for Zoo-Photo eBook by Ajai Verma

Hello Friends!

Like me, most of you must have childhood memories of visiting a Zoological Park. I am sure while going through this photo eBook you would relive those magical moments.

I come from City of Lucknow, India. We used to visit Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden or popularly called Lucknow Zoo (it was earlier called Prince of Wales Zoological Garden) every year mostly around winter vacations along with our whole family. This ritual of visiting Zoo year after year made me very much involved with the “Mother Nature”.

After completing my education, I finally came to Delhi for my job. Delhi has a bigger Zoological Park known as National Zoological Park Delhi or Delhi Zoo; located on Mathura Road and adjacent to Purana Qila Complex. Now, I had a camera in my hands and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing beautiful moments in the Zoo. Gradually it became my favourite pastime. After my marriage, my wife and myself found this habit a great rejuvenating and fun loving activity.

Once, while going through these photographs on my laptop, idea of writing a photo book struck. You would agree photographs have a great story telling capacity. While browsing pages of this eBook at many places you would find some kind of symphony or poetry in these pictures.

 Further, I have deliberately not mentioned the names of plants, animals & birds in this eBook with a hope that the book generates some curiosity in the readers and they plan a visit to a Zoological Park or a Wildlife Sanctuary…
